good idea. i wish i could try this but no point with my strut bar

 

Wow, I've been thinking of trying this out myself for some time now, but haven't had the time to get around to it.

I found a shorter 3in dia filter, but I think it's too short. I think is 3 in in height compared to 5 with the AEM.

I will leave it the way it is so far no problems and it idles super smooth now.

I'm going to try and put it on another G at the races this sunday. If he can tell a difference or not I'll ask him to post his impressions in this thread.

 

i also thought about this mod, but everyone was asking way to much for non rev up air box back then i was searching. glad your doing this project your saving the hassle and cash.
