Still searching. I belive the post I was looking for had an exhaust cutout, instead of using the 2.5 piping. I'll post it up when I find it.

Nice. I know Hydrazine is a 3" single advocator. But he also sells dual exhausts with a X also.

Would you like to see more? KA24DE perhaps, or another Maxima? I'll see what I can did up.

Very interesting thread... I drove with Stillen true dual, if I'm not wrong it is 2.5" piping. I'm selling it for several reasons, but it is true that I lost some power/torque anywhere lower 3000RPM. But it is also true that I gained double of what I lost over 3000RPM all the way to the redline.
Tomorrow I'm building a single pipe exhaust with a magnaflow resonator and maybe HKS muffler. So now is the time to deside on the piping diameter. After reading all this I think I will stick to 2.75" as I originally intended.
I have learned the hard way that with new exhaust it is not all about power when you upgrade or change it. It has to sound nice and not yell at you weather you like it or not...

That is just my experience and my 2 cents

I have Tony's VQ exhaust and it is 3in from the xyz pipe into a single muffler with 2 2.5 outlets.

so if i like being able to go from 40-135 on occasion, and want to get to 135 as fast as possible lol and im making a dual exhaust with magnaflow mufflers and a couple bullet resonators and an xpipe should i go with 2.25 or 2.5 pipes? Oh ya i may be getting a bottle installed in the future so what would be best for that too?

im torn between the 2 sizes and theres no 2.375 size haha.

From what I've seen, the Motordyne Exhaust work best.
