all the aftermarket has 3" outlet, would it fit without an adapter to our stock exhaust?

from what I am seeing, the 07+ g35 sedan HR ypipe is a bit longer than the 07+ Z HR ypipe.

It will "physically" fit but not going to do you any good for flow dynamics perspectives. You are creating a discontinuous step change from 3" ID to 2.5" ID, which will create flow separation and hence turbulent flow. Common audible effect is Rasp ... and this is not something that you would want if your original intention of going for an aftermarket ypipe was performance gains.

At the end of the day, stick with a 07+ 350z ypipe if you are going to pair it up with a stock exhaust, or you can go to a full blown aftermarket exhaust.
If you reallly really really want to pair up your aftermarket ypipe with 3" ID to your stock midpipe with 2.5" ID, you can put a 3" -> 2.5" adapter (search Dr Gas).

HR y-pipe, 05/06 sedan midpipe, Revup airbox

From inside the car, WOT, TC/VDC on

30% throttle, cold night, cold pipes
