HR Y-Pipe Price and Question

Newbie here. Just got 2005 G35 Coupe 5AT. Tried to use the search button, unfortunately couldn't find the answers. Apparently the search omit any words under 3 characters. Anyway.....

How much is the market/fair price for a HR Y-Pipe?

Does the HR midpipe have the same diameter as the G35 coupe midpipe?

My goal is midrange improvement that doesnt hurt low-end, and stock looking. Powerlab 3/8 spacer, z tube, amsoil drop-in, revup airbox are already on the list. I dont want to change the header, cat, nor exhaust. Just Y-Pipe or midpipe. I heard great things about the HR Y-Pipe. How about the HR midpipe?

I'd say $50-$80, but they're in big demand.
There's been lots of threads about how the y pipe from the 07-08 350Zs should get slightly more torque/hp gains but no hard data as of yet.
It does give the exhaust a more noteable deeper sound.
Not sure about the midpipe diameter off hand. You may want out check my350Z.com.

Your list looks pretty good, I'm in the same boat.
Don't want to mess with HF cats, headers, test pipes, atleast not right now

'Fair' price is very subjective. When no one wanted these things, I think DaveB got his for ~$40-$50. Nowadays with all the WTB posts, I see $100 as the norm, maybe $150ish for a midpipe/y pipe/muffler combo.

You gotta be proactive or extremely lucky in getting a HR y pipe at a decent price. Also, many people are hesitant to sell it by itself if they took off their midpipe and muffler as well.

I'd say camp on my350z and my37 during the day and look every now and then. I got lucky and scored my y pipe last week by posting within an hour of the OP, who was also selling the y pipe by itself.

Good luck man - it took me maybe 2-3 months to get this part.

I searched around the my350z marketplace diligently for about a week before I was able to find one. Got an entire 07 exhaust for $100 picked up. I got mine soon after it was confirmed that it fit on our cars, so there weren't a whole lot of people looking for one at the time.

I would say $100 is the average price for just the HR Y-Pipe

Thanks. Someone local tried to sell the whole y pipe, midpipe, and muffle for $700, then lowered to $400 right away. I think it's pretty steep.

I would say $100-125 shipped is the going rate. They're in high demand. FWIW, you can also swap your y-pipe with a pipe from an X. I would assume all 1st gen years but am not entirely sure.
