FAST INTENTIONS CAT-BACK for 2006 G35 Coupe: INSTALLED

Just wanted to post a review of my Intimidator cat-back that I got from Tony and the guys at Fast Intentions for my 2006 G35 Coupe.

This thing is AMAZING!!! It is THE exhaust for this car! This is no fart-can ladies and gentlemen. The sound coming from this thing is refined. It is so smooth and low, you just have to hear it. It cruises very nicely with a deep tone while still letting people know something is coming, and at wide open throttle it roars! I have never heard a better exhaust! It's what this car should've sounded like to begin with.

The tips look beautiful coming out of the back! I ordered the polished kit, and it looks great! The whole kit went on well except for one little problem. One of the tips was a little higher than the other surprisingly and it was too close to the bumper. I had to bend the hanger of the car, not the exhaust, to drop it down just a bit. Now it looks great! That was the only fitment problem, everything else went on perfect. This might have only been mine and it was an easy fix so this should absolutely not be part of your decision to buy this exhaust!

As for power, it's definately evident! I haven't had it dynoed but after installing my MREV2 and z-tube/k&n, I was having a little problem with bogging out. I really had to get the revs up to keep the car from stalling in first and it was very hesitant and jumpy for some reason. After installing this exhaust, this problem is gone! I'm thinking the jump in power has made starts a little quicker and easier. Also I think it balanced all of the inhaling mods letting it exhale easier.

I also wanted to say, I accidentally ordered the kit for a car without RAS and my car has RAS, needless to say it didn't fit at all! Tony helped me get the right parts in exchange for the wrong parts even though they were damaged when he received them (MY FAULT!). He was able to work with me and get me what I needed with little hassle and cost. THANKS MAN!

I can't say enough about this system! You guys rock!!!

Martin

hahaha yeah I definitely will, but hey I can't buy EVERYTHING all at once!

In less than a month I've done:
MREV2
5/16 iso spacer
Z-tube/K&N
Clear corners
Hyper grounding kit
misc body work to get the dings and scratches out

now HFC...

I'm POOR! LOL

My thoughts exactly . I got this exhaust a couple months ago, and have had no regrets since.

Of course, HFC/test pipes are coming, just not sure which one I wanna go with yet.

Please do a video as soon as you instal the HFC's. I have the spacer, MREV, Stillen Intake and the z-tube and a Bassani catback. I'm anxious to see the power and sound difference with FI HFC's. thanks.
