OEM intake tube?

This is a dumb question but is that the OEM intake tube?

You do know where the air filter is....right? Looking past the air filter there's a box that hugs your engine cover, that's the OEM intake tube. If you get a z-tube that boxy unit will be replaced with a straight tube, how's my explanation working for ya?
