On the revup or non revup, the 5/16" spacer makes a higher average power and the 1/2" spacer makes a higher peak power. Which is best depends on what trade works best for your application.

In any case, the exhaust addition makes the redline power higher (as shown in the plots above).

BTW, what model of the Z is the 2006 GT PPW?
No tune yet. I am considering adding some equal length headers when I purchase my HFC's, then get the Osiris reflash.

The z model is a 2006 Grand Touring, Pikes Peak White, 6mt.

In development, I also tested a 2.25" version of the XYZ pipe. It had a little more TQ in the 1500-3000 RPM range but then it lost about 2-3 HP over the rest of the curve above ~3500 RPM. 2.25" wasn't a good trade.

2.5" primaries provided the best overall results.
Interesting. Is that because it's a single into dual as opposed to a true dual? i.e. if it were a true dual, do you think 2.25" would be better?

No. Single or dual doesn't make a difference if they are merged correctly. The number of flow paths after the merge point doesn't make a difference if its 1, 2, 3 flow paths or even if its fully open.

The first 2 feet of the primaries is the reactive part of the exhaust system. It is what determines the power curve slope angle.

Beyond 2 feet, the only thing that matters is the flow resistance. IE how free flowing it is. And flow resistance should be minimized to any practical extent possible.

It depends on what version. There are three listed on the website and it starts at $460.

Which type gives more overall power and torque? Will this work well with an HKS dual Hi power exhaust?

Can you explain the reason why the XYZ pipe can't work with the HKS exhaust? Thanks Tony

The XYZ and the HKS both connect to the exact same place (on the catalytic converters) . You can only have one or the other.

Sorry Tony...what i meant was if i take out the Y pipe off the HKS exhaust system, will the XYZ Y pipe work with the remainding HKS exhaust ie...the mid pipe to the exhaust ports.

OK, in that case yes.

I was thinking of the HKS dual system.
