HKS Exhaust Installed

Fedex delivered my exhaust on thursday.. thought I would do a little write up about it for anyone else considering it.
1. Its AMAZING! The sound is perfect, exactly what I was looking for in an exhaust. At idle it is deep and has a nice vibration and WOT it screams. I did not want something that was going to be really obnoxious and have my neighbors complaining but I did not want anything to stock sounding either. Basically it is perfect!
2. As far as the install- getting the stocker out was the hardest part as soon as I could break those rusted bolts and get the old system out the new system went in Very easily. It took about 3 hours total-2 of those was just removing the old system. Everything fit perfect with no problems.
3. I HIGHLY recommend this system to anyone, i know there are about a hundred posts about this exhaust system but I felt the need to post up another. So that should say something.
4. The girlfriend loves it.
Hope this helps anyone considering this exhaust.

i did the same didnt pay 900. my bolts werent rusted at all. funny when i put my car on the lift the guys were like good luck getting those exhast bolts off. i waited about15-20 for it to cool. i had just made a 5hour drive from san diego to fresno. but took -like 15 minuted to got the old one off after i started. maybe the bolts were hot and made it easier. i was alitlle surprised all in all about 45 minutes hardest part was looking at teh HKS on teh floor waiting for the stock to cool enough to touch it and get it off. good buy.

OP enjoy.

At first I didn't like the sound of HKS on youtube clips etc..

Then I heard it on a Z @ Project X here in Chicago....next thing I know I was like man I really like the sound of it....

Enjoy the new exhaust bro! If I knew what it sounds like in person with Berk HFCs I would give it thought. Maybe I can find someone local with that setup

I heard a Z with berks and HKS and its def louder but no rasp. Sounded pretty damn good. The dude said that theres a little bit of drone but not annoying.

I'm ordering my berk HFC's as soon as I finish moving!
