Throttle Body unplugged-reset?
Throttle Body unplugged-reset?
Last night i removed the upper plenum and TB assembly to put in an MREV2 and spacer later tonight.
I disconnected the neg. terminal on battery first, and i unplugged the harness to the TB unit.
Just curious if this things gonna act up when i assemble everything and hook battery back up,such as if the TB relearn procedure will need to be done?
Or does it not matter since the battery isnt even hooked up.
Thanks

Doesnt seem like the answer to my question though??
I asked if i had to relearn the ecu since i unplugged the Throttle Body, not from a spacer install.
Maybe if you actually read my post you would of seen that.

you do not have to do the ecu reset. If any thing the idle relearn procedure only if you notice that your rpms are high at idle
ps. adding a spacer and/or the mrev2 you still need to disconnect the throttle body so whats true for one is true for the other in this case

Well i got everything together last night and it runs great.
I was just unsure becuase they say if you manually move the butterfly valve on the tb when the cars off it can throw it off and it must be reset.
