Louder for sure. Much louder from a stop and pulling out, but it gets quieter once you are at speed. I wonder if resonating them a bit more will sweeten the sound from inside the cabin? Really, there is a big difference inside and out - outside, the sound is waaay better then inside, but that is just my experience.

Thanks. I guess I will be going with some high-flow cats and try to polish my stock exhaust. I really don't want to be obnoxious by waking up the neighbors every morning at 5:30am leaving for work.

dont get me wrong, its not that loud unless you leave going into the higher rpms. I can still sneak in under 2500 coasting without people really even knowing im coming. it all depends on your driving style and how willing you are to make small changes to stay quieter, but its definitely doable. i also believe the exhaust seems to be much louder inside the car, making it feel obnoxious sometimes

I have an Auto by the way and it was my first time to the track with my car. I wasn't sure where in the band to launch at and I did notice some wheel spin. I'll get better but it still was disappointing. My last car was a 99 Acura CL 3.0L that did 10.24 @70. It was really hot out though when I ran the G.
Thanks for the response.

Hotel, I used your pics to post on a corolla forum the I frequent if you don't mind. If you want me to take it off, let me know.

I posted my clip of the exhaust and Hotel's pictures and didn't get very good responses from there. Oh well. I like it. If you want to check it out, http://www.9thgencorolla.com/forum/s...d.php?t=101353

lol i like how those corolla owners try to bag on g owners for not buying an exhaust system that is well over $1k.

and you dont lose the vq sound, sure it doesnt sound exactly like the stock but it does still sound like a vq and anyone that is familiar with them or cars in general can tell.

Ok so I just got mine back from the shop today. I know lots of you guys were having fittment issues but mine fit 9/10. The only issue was squeezig past the front sway bar. It is touching ever so slightly ad I am going to a muffler shop tomorrow to have them bend it away a quarter inch. Other than that, the tips fit perfectlly in the diffuser wells, and my tips were also not crooked or drilled unevenlly. I chose to get the m2 auto kcr from hotels origional post. I'm glad I did too bbecause it seems everyone else was having problems with re other cheaper ones. I am on y ipone now so I'll upload pics late tonight when I get home. All in all I give the origional post exhaust a 9/10 just for the slight fit under the car. Visible parts 10/10. Sound 15/10

here are pics of my exhaust after putting it on. This is for the M2 KCR exhaust from HotelCrazy's link on PAGE 1. NOT the other similar ones floating arorund on ebay. my tips were drilled perfectlly straight, and the tips fit about 97% perfectlly. the drivers side is VERY VERY slightlly closer to the right side of the cutout but it is never noticeable unless you REALLY look closelly. the sound is AMAZING and it has the perfect rasp and burble and is 3-4 times louder than stock.

***Tips are VERY dirty in pics, so disregard the orange smudges. I didnt have a chance to polish them up after intalling.

*** half of these pics were taken with the tips on the 1st hole, and half were taken on the 3rd hole. I think they stick out just a bit too far on the 1st hole so i will probablly move them back to the middle one.

im also going to get smaller screws for the tips. the ones that it comes with are kind of chunky. but thats just a $2 trip to home depot. not a real downside
