2005 G35 coupe 6spd

Hello everyone. I need some seroius help! My exhaust sounds horrible! Got injen intake, headers, 2.5" test pipes, 2.25" in to a 3" collector y-pipe, and a 3" single pipe back after the y-pipe. Around 2700rpm I hear this horrible high pitch sound like I'm driving a damn Honda Civic! The sound goes away after 4500rpm.. I put back the stock exhaust from y-pipe back and the sound started at 3000rpm n stopped at 4000.. Any ideas???

Thats RASP, i got that when I had headers and HFC with the stock exhaust. When i put on the FI dual cat back it went away. I'm not sure what solution there is for you setup but Good luck. Rasp sucks

 

Wonderful... I still have my HKS dual exhaust so I could try that with the stock cats but than I'm losing power n it's gonna sound retarded again.. Ppl say the HKS sounds good and that maybe the case when it's just a catback but it sure don't sound too good with headers and test pipes.. Has anyone installed a borla dual 2.25inch catback with headers and test pipes?? Any problems like RASP?!

What if the O.P were to try a custom H pipe instead of the X pipe for his dual exhaust?

Would that make his rasp go away?

O.P, could you post up some video clips so we can guage what your rasp sounds like?
