Just changed the OEM filter to a highflow K&N filter and call it a day. No need to make a Warm Air Intake.....

the OEM intake is the best you can get for your car. The only thing better is replacing the mildly restrictive tubing w/ a 350Z one.

You can get universal generic piping, filters and fittings from most parts stores. Probably cost you 50-60 bucks tops. I did it on my old 93 accord which i drive back and forth to work. Just make a few measurements yourself, as Rob Shneider always says...... "You can do it.........."

Awesome, the 1st gen g35s are offically rice burners. Since you want to be all cheap and ghetto with your luxury coupe, go to pep boys and buy the stuff from there.

If you want to do it right, then buy one of professionally designed systems such as Nismo or Injen, etc.

My suggestion to you though is to just buy a Z-Tube for like $40-50 used off of someone who owns a 350Z and has swapped his out for a CAI. Then put in an aftermarket Amsoil EA Nanofiber or K&N air filter and call it a day. Our stock intake setup is pretty good except for the center tube(the one you should replace with the Z-Tube).

I love the amount of hate, people want everyone to fall in line and do what they want u to do ....nobody can be original anymore w/o critisisim...by the way the stock g35 sedan (which is what i have not a coupe) beat all stock sports sedans made by acura (tl) saab (9-5) bmw (3 series) and lots of others by miles..... And its a luxury !sports! Sedan...NOBODY'S BEING CHEAP....JUST WHY SPEND HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS ON SOMTHIN U CAN MAKE YOURSELF

Yeah, ricey is going to far. I mean, cheap yes. But ricey? Maybe ticky tacky. But we haven't seen the finish product yet.
