Intake & Exhaust Questions and info regarding various aftermatket exhaust systems for the G35 (Headers,Y-Pipes, and Cat-Back Systems)

I want to make a homemade intake for a 03 g35 sedan

Well I would suggest:

Opt1: K&N drop in filter
Opt2: Z tube + K&N Filter
Opt3: CAI - But these thing get dirty quick. And if it rains in your area, huge chance of hydrolocking your motor.

You can try to build your own, but you also have to make a mount for the sensor. Also to get the dimension right and where the tube bends, etc etc. To much work when theres plenty of other options that are rather cheap.

is this guy for real????? the OEM Ztube its like 60 bucks.

ps.buddy get rid of your G and buy a civic.

i got a z-tube for $20, had a $200 injen cia, that heat soaked like a ****, z-tube ftw
