Talking Megan Racing cat-back installed

Well my wife talked me into ordering her a cat-back. Found what looked like a stupid crazy deal on an MR setup, 360 shipped.

Placed my order and waited what felt like the longest week in my life. Well it showed up friday and I was off Sat sooo.

First off it looks fantastic. Welds are beautiful and the whole thing was so nice I left in middle of living room all day just to gawk at it.

-=Now for the install=-

I should let it be known this was my first exhaust install and I have half-assed set of tools. Note for futrue get better tools. though this was still fully doable with the most basic of tool kits, an impact would have been nice, well that and a lift.

Worst part was freeing up the old hardware. That crap would not budge! Once I finally got all the bolts loose it wasnt too bad, aside from the OEM mid nearly crushing me when I got everything undone.

The MR system popped right in place, took no more than 20-25 mins including the time for me to crawl in and out a few times and moving the mid into place w/o assistance or scrathing / dragging it. MR stuff was nice and light, comparitively.

-= Now for the pics=-

-=Now for the review=-

I wish I had something to do sound captue with. The sound is bada$$. Made my wife blip and rev it a few times to get the full effect, im sure the neighbors didnt appreciate it. Cruising is nice and mellow but once you put your foot in it it opens up nicely, im pirating car tomorrow for some highway runs on my way to work.

So if you have $360 burning a hole in your pocket and cant decide on a cat-back MR isnt a bad choice.

This was Megans OE-RS BTW.

The MR OE-RS is not a bad deal for a catback exhaust. You probably haven't noticed it yet, but the droning will eventually get to you unless if your wife doesn't mind the sound at all. It looks like you have an 05-06 Sedan, so what you could possibly do in the future is swap the MR midpipe with your stock one. That's the same setup I have and it sounds a lot better.

Plans are to get the MR Y in place here pretty soon, as for the droning sound, doesnt bother me at all, in fact it seems quite tame to me. Have a Greddy cat-back on my Spec V, no that thing took some getting used to.

My wife seems to love the sound.

Here you go. Please do a little looking before you ask. willey told you, 'sticky'. We don't mind helping, but won't spoon feed you. That's a job for your mommy.
