Test pipes please

Ok I am going resonated test pipes....(when I go off roading)

Anyways my question is do I need to get those cel fix covers that go on the o2 sensor so I do not show a check engine light????

I have a 2003 coupe, but I know some people get the check engine light from test pipes. Do you correct it with the o2 covers?

Here is an example:

Anyone with test pipes please chime in...I would rather buy this part first then have to crawl under my car and uninstall the test pipes because of an engine check light. BUT if this part is not needed let me know.

thanks.

As far as I know most people with 2003 G35’s and 350Z’s don’t experience any CEL’s from adding test pipes. I didn’t have any on my 2003 G35 Coupe and my brother never had one on his 2003 350Z.

same here for me no CEL with resonated TPS. If your worried have your tuner disable the CEL for you with osiris since you just got a tune with uprev.

odd advice....just go to any autoparts store and buy a set of spark plug non-foulers for under $10 and screw them into the bungs.* Done!

Thanks SXEXCX

Yeah I don't want to spend time under the car to put test pipes on just to take them off becuase of a check engine light.....

Limp mode would be no fun in the G35...Limp mode in any situation is probably not a good thing..
