Berk HFC or FI HFC's?

Which one do you recommend and why?
I have pricing for $380 shipped for the Berks and $525 shipped for the FI's.

Advice welcomed!

Planning on going with the Berks since they both use the Magnaflow cats and there is a $120 price difference.

Berk HFC is made out of the same material as FI HFC and cost a lot less. So Berk is your choice, only thing is that FI has non-foulers and Berk doesnt. Well last time i check they didnt have any. You shouldn't get a engine check light though, unless something happens during installation.

Berk are good...since they are cheaper you should just go with them. You wont get much difference between the 2 brands.

I understand about the test pipes..I had loud mustangs before and don't want the off road H pipe sound again in a sporty luxury car which is why I hope the HFC's just makes it more of a deeper sound vice any more louder.

Actually you got that a little mixed up... our HFC's include built in non foulers and we also include the support brackets and FI doesn't

I am glad that you have made a choice.

However, Berk cats and ours are nothing alike. To the best of knowledge they still use Magnaflow cats and we have been getting our own made for almost seven months now. For Berk, us(Fast Intentions) and Stillen we were all using Magnaflow cats. Around this time last year a lot of customers on all three sides were starting to get CEL lights. What we(Fast Intentions) finally determined was that is was the cores themselves. In addition after January 1st of this year, being in California we were no longer able to get our hands on the Magnaflow cats (New Law)!

Now I know Berk has a straight piece of tubing welded to the cat that they call a non fouler. The bottom line is sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. They have been using that piece from day one and they have plenty of customers out there that most likely are throwing a CEL light. Now to keep everything honest, we have had our share of CEL lights come on. However, since we have been using our new non fouler the issue has gone away for us. We have a non fouler that works with high flow cats all the way down to straight test pipes. Tried and proven.

But if in the end it comes down to money, then we cannot match that price. It is just too low to even try to compete. I feel my cats are set at a fair price and I will always stand behind my product...

Thank you, Tony
