My G35 5AT coupe with a FI catback drones badly around 2000 rpm with Berk HFC installed. Has anyone tried ceramic HFC instead to eliminate drone?

NO. cermaic is a coating, it is mostly to help with heat. It's not going to make much difference, if any.

Ceramic is NOT a coating. I am referring to the catalytic matrix. Metallic cores are much higher flowing (you can actually see thru them). Ceramic cores are much denser. I just want to know if the ceramic cores will slow exhaust flow enough to eliminate the exhaust drone.

What's wrong with the oem cats as delivered? When you reduce flow you lose any gain created by lower back pressure.

I'm working on a set of new test pipes & cats specifically for your situation.

Keep an eye out. I'll make a post on it when ready.
