I'm looking to purchase the borla exhaust for my sedan in the near future and wanted some opinion on its sound. I heard couple sound clips but I couldn't tell how it compares to the sound of the stock coupe exhaust. Is it about the same or louder? I like how the stock coupe sounds. I'd appreciate some feedback. Thanks.

 

Its similar with test pipe's and even a bit louder than a coupe with aftermarket exhaust for that matter in person!! Sound clips to not to any exhaust's justice IMO.. Mine didn't! IT sounds great, but like i said my exhaust isnt just Borla, test pipe's add a lot to it but sounds amazing. Stillen has had complaints of it being too loud, i dunno!

To answer your question, the Borla cat back on a sedan is a little louder then the stock coupe exhaust. I don't think you would be dissapointed with the sound. Everybody that has the Borla loves the sound and people that have heard my car (non G35 ppl) have had positive reactions. If you need more sound bytes email me skeletoncru@sbcglobal.net

How's the sound when the car is at idle? Does it sound like the idle stock coupe? Or is it a little louder than that?

My Borla sounds is like dying down lol!!! I wish i was back at the first day my stuff got installed, which was like a week ago hahaah!

At idle it may be slightly louder then the coupe.
