but im in the market of getting mrev2 or 5/16 spacer....
the thing is that i heard that mrev2 alone gives good power... is gettin both good?

Which one you go with is the one that will best fit your budget and application.
Some people understandbly wont compromise the additional top end power provided by the spacer. So in that case, do it. It costs more to add the spacer but comprises the single best NA modification that can be done to the REVUP engine.
Some people dont drive their engine beyond 6000 RRPM (at least on a regular basis) so just do the MREV2 by itself. It makes a ton of torque for daily spirited driving. In that case you don't need the spacer.
There are many on this forum doing either setup. Different driving styles determine which to use.
