Yup, normally pointed towards the rear since the oem hose is coming from the rear. We figured this was the best way to make sure the ARC guys were taken care of. The area behind the throttle body is tight so a -8 or -10 steel braided line is stiff at that radius.

Steel braided stiffness can eventually beat up the rubber seal or whatever is used on those fittings unless you tie down the hose or something, it doesn't really move but why have another point of failure on the pipe when you can just have it welded and be done with it.

Rev up engine bay

So it clears pretty much everything tested so far.
ARC/NRG STB, RA STB, Stillen STB, done on Kinetix plenum, done with oem plenum, done with Cosworth plenum.
Tamper proof T20 bits ordered so they can be included for installation ease.

Heat is only an issue in traffic. How much power do you need in traffic?
Don't crucify me, this is an aesthetics option over other short ram type intakes. Injen heatshield probably does little to nothing.
