Would anyone know if FI HFC are good on an HKS Exhaust system to give that lower sound on idle also would make the exhaust quite louder that usual? let me know, thanks
Watch out for drone! I don't have the HKS but as soon as I installed the Berk HFC's I had drone at 1600-2000 RPM's.
As far as install there are 3 studs on each header that 2/3 have to be removed and on the third stud just the nut comes off...I learned this one the hard way. You will need extensions as well as a universal .

Yes more cells help clean the air and help with emissions but they restrict airflow and that robs you of horsepower
Thats why most guys who go FI ditch cats all together and either run test pipes or straight pipes.
If you need HFCs, I'd grab 300 cell and call it a day. I've had 300 cell Berk HFCs for a year and passed emissions last summer with flying colors.

My drone area is at 18-2500 rpm! Never had a problem with drone until I added the Berk.
If you get the HFCs make sure you get the extra bungs installed. I'd get an extra bung installed on each one. This way you add an A/F in the future or use an extra port for tuning (external A/F)
Also make sure the bungs are installed on the topside of the HFCs - specifically request this. You don't want to have permanent O2 sensor installed at the bottomside where it can collect with condensation.
