sedan exhaust help - md vs stillen

hey guys what i have so far
md 5/16 basic
popcharger w/ztube
ur crank pulley - stock diameter

im looking into getting an exhaust in the next few weeks here and ive narrowed it down to the motordyne harakiri or vq with a resonated midpipe and the xyz pipe or the stillen gen 2 sedan exhaust

i was wondering what people who have either setup have to say about it in regards to performance, im not enormously worried about the sound as long as they arent too raspy or crazy loud but i want to pick up the setup that will net me best gains. stillen claims a 21-23 hp increase but i wanted to know if anyone who actually has it with can show me some dynos to back it up. likewise on either md option.

as always any and all help is appreciated.
thanks!

note: i also plan on getting the intense test pipes around the same time

Stillens claims are inflated. I waited for almost 6 months for the dual tip Motordyne VQ exhaust for the sedan to be completed but got impatient and went with the Stillen Gen II. I couldn't be happier. I would imagine that the difference in gains from either would be negligible.

Once you get an exhaust, honestly the largest bottleneck is the Cats so your best bet would be some HFCs and I love my VQ in my 04X, couldn't be happier.

There is not too much info (Third party results) on the MD exhaust(VQ) yet. As for everyone is waiting for the dual option to come out, but from what I heard it is good so far. Sounds good imo. As for stillen i have seen some modded sedans with the stillen exhaust and they have showed good gains, only thing i have heard wrong from it was droning issues. Droning occurred in the stillen gen 1, supposely the issue was resolved in the stillen gen 2 exhaust.

I would go with the VQ resonated midpipe and resonated XYZ pipe if i were you.

Resonated XYZ + VQ resonated MP. I also have HFC and Headers. I love the sound. I haven't had anybody hear it and not like it.

My neighbor who builds domestic V8's loved the sound...and he hates imports. haha

i had bought the Motordyne XYZ pipe for my 04X and it didn't fit at all over the transfer case. I ended up ordering the Stillen Gen2. I heard some people say XYZ fit the X but others who said no. Good luck
