My New Stillen Exhaust

Hi, two days ago I installed my Stillen gen 2 exhaust system for my G35 sedan. I also have MD 5/16 plenum spacer and K&N cold air intake. Well, the car does not feel like going as fast as it used to after I install the exhaust system. I mean before when lets say I was going 30mph and wanted to accelerate instantly I would press the gas and I could feel the power.

Did you reset your ECU by unplugging the battery cable and leaving it off for a while? It takes time for your ecu to eventually adjust to the new mods and better airflow but it shouldn't make your car slower.

I think this is a trade off of a catback system, that you will lose some low end torque and gain some mid range horsepower. I have the same system too.

Mine sorta felt the same when I had it...felt like I lost some bottom-end.

I took my car to dealer and they did a ECU reset yesterday. Still did not change anything.

Yeah but, I checked Motordyne exhausts also and I noticed that they have one for sedan car which has one pipe, one resonator and one tip which sucks.

Pretty sure it's because of the stock muffler having the exhaust valve, improving low-end torque, and the aftermarket exhausts do not. I have the same issue w/ my HKS.

yup osiris tuning. After you have most of ur NA mods, u shud get a tune. Find a local tuner shop that does Osiris and just go to them. Before tuning try gettin mods like spacer, hfc, exhaust, headers (if u want the most power), intake,

Yep Osiris tune is the best way 2 go , 4 example my girls 06 M45 would get me (320HP) but after the tune , smoked the M, swapped out the 3.3 stock diff for a 3.5 & really got her.... bad
