Oil for jwt popcharger???

I see they sell oil for the jwt popcharger. Is this neccessary? What (if any) are the pluses and minuses of using/not using it? And where are you suppose to apply it at?

You can use K&N recharge oil, same idea. And yes you have to do it, the idea behind the oil is to help trap particles from getting sucked into your intake.

The filter is useless without oil. A clean filter has large pores that will let dirt through. The oil fills in the holes and traps dirt when the filter is used.

Here's the official popcharger cleaning guide
