This took you 2.5 hours to install?

These intakes look great though.

Thanks for the write up and pics. I am intrigued by the performance of the filter so I ordered the front half yesterday. Will be here in a few days. I tried the JWT pop this summer and hated it so we'll see how this turns out.

I got mine from Marinelli Motorsports, a new vendor here, and I can't say enough good things about his prices and service. Thanks again JR!!

Be prepared for tight fitment. - couldn't get the supporting bracket connected. Had to make it fit some where else.

But overall I love this intake. At first it sounds sofy when reving and break in period. Then when ecu adapts it just roars. I love it and it actually made my exhaust sound slightly deeper.

I aslo have the have kit, along with Ztube.

I sold my other R2C intake to a Z guy and he just loved it as well. Brought a smile to his face. Fitment issue was also tight on the Z.

I give this intake a 10 out of 10. Who cares about fitment when the heatshield has no heat soak and filter is enormous.

best way to save your AC line is by taking silicone intake tubing and making a 1 slice in it long ways (like a wire loom is) and then stretching it over the ac line, since the silicone is resillient (sp?) it will just stay wrapped around the AC line, thats how ive had mine for over a year with ZERO issues

I dont have any AC line issues on mine, cause I reused my ZTube. For others some type of rubber or protector stated above works well.

I feel like I did get gains. But then again, I do not have any dyno proof. You really can't go by someones but dyno.

It sure does sound good. Also the filter is the best in the business. There is no re-oiling, which K&N has been proven to leave oil deposits in the throttle body. This is a dry filter, I have cleaned it countless times and it looks like new every time. I usually vacuum & blow out the filter 2 times a month. Also you can totally hear the difference.

^wat do u hear? cus i have a nismo cai and honestly dont hear anything. no traditional intake sound jus a "whistle". i was kinda shocked but ive learned to live with it cus when i listen to other intake youtube clips they dont sound very loud either on these cars for some reason.. also oil getting into throttle body is user error oiling too much. people dont kno how to read instructions and blame it on k&n
