Calling 05+ Sedans with Coupe Midpipe

I just did some looking around and the sedan guys (03-04) get the (05-06) Sedan Midpipe. I Just wanted to know if any of you with (05-06) Sedans ever got a coupe midpipe. How much different did it sound?

Thanks

U tube is good. Perhaps some others like blue dream or others will chime in with their experience with running the cpe mp on an 05 sedan.

I might run an 05 sedan mp to help cut down the bit of drone in lower rpms.

05-06 MP is the same so this is a good clip to hear how it sounds.

I like it but it just wasn't loud enough for me, hence the HKS/CM combo I have now.

If you're mainly concerned about the drone, you might consider the new MD VQ twin tip. At $777 it's a fairly reasonable price for an exhaust that looks great, is a little quieter than the CM/HKS combo, has no drone, and gives real performance gains. I'm going to rock my current set-up for a while, but in the back of my mind I know I'll end up with the MD sooner or later.

Do you have access to an 05 MP? I've got one I'd be willing to sell and I'm in Austin. LMK if you're interested.

^I might hit you up to buy that badboy if you still have it in a few months.

Offtopic but i test drove an 06 Audi A4 2.0t 6spd, and man was it such a smoooooth car...

I have the HR y-pipe, CM, and HKS on my 05 sedan. I think it sounds pretty aggressive for mostly OEM stuff.

I have an 05 sedan, so I already have the 05 MP, and I linked that vid and another in the post above you. I am not worried to much about drone.

Yea and I am not going to spend 800 bucks right now :P but thanks for the help.

Coupe MPs were the same from 03-06+ right?

Ill prob be going the HR-Y Pipe+Coupe MP + HKS route.

You can get the midpipe off www.everythingg35.com. They are selling it for pretty cheap, I was actually thinking of buying it.

OP, sorry for overtaking your thread.

Wannabe, is your desire for the 05 sedan mp for the purpose of cutting down some low RPM drone?

thanks
