Exhaust too loud! Ideas?

I just bought the Stillen Gen 2 Exhaust yesterday and had it installed. It was supposed to be a little quieter, but I found that it is still pretty loud. What could I do? Change out the resonators? And are any recommended? Thanks.

I too have the Stillen Gen II and I love the exhaust note. It can be a little too much for some. Once it breaks in it will get a little louder.

most exhausts tend to get a bit louder after you put some miles on them

I may get used to it, but also might have to install different resonators. Did you notice some hp gains TwilightBlue?

I did. The Stillen will net you gains... just not what Stillen claims. Could have just been my imagination but I did feel some gains. No dyno to back it up though.

The problem with the Stillen etc.. isn't the noise perse, it's the drone. Unfortuntaley, the only way to really quiet it down is a different rear muffler.

You could get some drone reduction using a resonated X pipe

I resolved the same issue with mine by - selling it, LOL! S/b better with MT since you can keep the revs above the drone zone. You will either get used to it...or not.
