Sounds like you're going to have to cut the bolts.

See, that wasn't so hard..........

Pony up about $85, take the car to Midas and let them take care of it for you. That's what I did when I got my midpipe installed. Just not worth the hassle doing it yourself w/out a lift.

Air tools or cut them off. I had to use my air tools to get them off. Worked easily. I attempted to remove them with a 20" breaker bar and I knew they'd start to strip or round off.

Spray lots of WD40 and let it soak for few minutes? But I'm sure you already knew that.
I just used half the can, just to install catback system on mine ('03 coupe), few days ago.

Good. I was gonna suggest soaking it every 10 min for a couple hours. Just have a few drinks and enjoy the smell of that rat ****. It works wonders. (you need more extension for better torque next time: works for me every time)

its rarely bout the torque, more about getting the socket on the rusted old bolts in my case anyways. a 2 foot breaker bar and a electric impact isn't very strong.

my air powered IR2135 puts out a claimed 1000ft/lbs couldn't get some off nor my 35 inch breaker bar. RUST > anything and everything

I use a 3 ft breaker bar, and if that doesnt work I use the floor jack handle as a cheater bar. I've never had anything that I couldn't get off yet Get a lot of rust on the bolts here in Utah from the salted roads in the winter.

Guys. If you ever run into a problem like this where you can't remove the nut off a rusty bolt, you can use an oxy/acetylene welding torch to help out.

Use the torch to heat the nut to cherry red. Once its red hot its ready to come off with very little effort.

No impact wrench, no breaker bars, no oil.
