Elimintate Test Pipe Smell

I have an XO2 catback exhaust, and recently bought resonated test pipes (not sure what brand). Anyway, I know that the car will be louder, which isn't much of a problem, but I don't want my car to smell like gas. Is there any way to prevent the smell? Also, has anyone with tp's had problems with exhaust residue staining the rear bumper? if they have, i was just going to extend my tips about 1/2" past the bumper.

Oh, yea. I live in Florida, so there are no emissions testing

Any advice is appreciated

Wanna lose the smell? Gotta lose the test pipes.

High flow cats will give you the best of both worlds.

I have the smell when I turn my heater on, currently snowing here. So I gotta get under the car again later and retighten the bolts. Past that IDK.... The smell suks. But you shouldn't get the smell from the rear of the car... Front possibly, if its leaking.

Ok, thought maybe there was some DIY trick or something that I could put in the pipe to get rid of the smell. I'll just look for some used HFCs...

Thanks

I knew that the catalyst core would solve the problem, I just don't want to sell the test pipes I have and buy HFCs (which are more expensive) if there was a simple fix to the problem.

Thank you for all the input!
