Here you go... test pipes but with a Stillen Gen I. I'm assuming it will not be quite as loud with a Gen II

You'll have a cel (mine did even with the built in nonfoulers on my coupe's test pipes) so I got some o2 simulators, and problem solved, took my emissions test with them on and passed with no issues.

a warning regarding soundclip for exhaust. Most people tend to capture the sound/video right after install. With any exhaust component and especially TP, it may sounds sporty after install, but that will change as fiber starts to burn off or wear down after initial "break-in", this is much more drastic with TPs. So it might sound good after install, but a month or two later, it might sound like a civic fart can.

most test pipe is just that, a straight pipes. Then you have resonated test pipes with built in resonator, that would be the way to go to help reduce rasp. But often time, after burn in, you'll get rasp, maybe just not as bad as a simple straight pipe.

If anything I thought during my break-in period it sounded a bit fart-can ish. But after that, I personally think it sounds deep and mellow at low rpms, then exotic somewhat at high rpms. Just check my youtube videos (in my sig).
To each their own though.

CEL depends on which test pipes you go with. I have Kinetix non-resonated ones and they're not supposed to give a CEL light. I'm actually one of the rare cases (1 of 2 people that it's happened to). It's a simple fix, just get some O2 sensor extenders and you're fine if it does happen.
