Mod question

I have the 5/16th spacer, z-tube w/ K&N filter, and borla exhaust. My question is does the G35's stock ECU update the change in the Air to fuel ratio automatically? or do I need to some how reset the system? or is it not enough to be worried about?

I'm planning on getting an Osiris Tuner but with a tune down the line. I was just worried that my car may be running to lean.

Thanks sry for the noob question.

Search "ECU reset", there are at least a couple of ways to do it and with those mods you probably should. AFAIK it's not a problem if you don't, though, it's just to allow your ECU to better adjust to the changes.

With that setup, you are most likely running lean. If you have an 04.5+ car, the ECU's don't seem to be able to compensate enough without some sort of tuning. The 03/04 cars seem to do a bit better, but they still improve with tuning. A simple dyno with with an A/F reading will give you a close ball park figure.

I have an 06' Coupe. I just don't want to put a lot of wear on the engine but I also don't want to pay for a tune twice. I want to get the Osiris ECU tuner but i need to wait a lil bit bc of funds.

I used the search for resetting the ECU and didnt come up with much any idea's?

Unplug your battery for an hour.

I had a crawford plenum, borla dual with the X pipe, revup airbox, K&N filter when I got my tune from TS. Noticed a pretty big difference (relatively) in the performance.
