CEL 1168 and 0051 after Berk HFC
All-
08 G35s sedan. Just had my Berk HFCs installed, engine/exhaust is otherwise stock. Had a shop do the install (springs at the same time). Shop told me it was throwing a CEL, that kept coming back after a reset, they didn't bother to check what the code was (they assumed it was the HFCs, though I argued ahead of time the Berks won't do this with the built-in spacers). After I picked the car up, plugged in my Cobb Accessport and flashed the stage 2 map, which blocks the 0420 code (catalyst function). But that wasn't it. Pulled the codes and saw I was getting a 1168 (The A/F sensor 1 circuit is open or shorted) and 0051 (The A/F sensor 1 heater circuit is open or shorted). Taking the car back in hopefully on Tuesday, but wan ted to get my ducks in a row ahead of time- anyone else have this problem? Thinking they either jacked up the wiring on the o2 sensors or the sensors themselves?
Thanks all!
