Just put in z tube and fujitsubo exhaust and y-pipe. Now I see smoke coming out from the rear. Had it installed at a local exhaust shop. But as with everything done that way...I saw the exhaust after I left. Do I need to reset the ecu? Does it correct itself automatically? Drove the car for about 10mins coming home...Will this go away soon? thanx for any input guys.

 

How much smoke? If it's just a little white stuff it should go away after a little more driving. I could smell my exhaust for about 4 days after I installed it. I think that it's just something that they coat the resonator with burning off.

if the smoking continues for couple more days then u might have a problem. Also your new exhuast might smell really bad for the next couple days, which is also normal. Post a soundclip for us!

The smoke is normal. I had a lot of stinky smoke coming out of my Borla for about 2 days, after that it was fine.

 

OK....You guys were all right. Smoke went away....smell is still around though. Hopefully that will also go away with time. As far as sound goes, definitely sounds more aggressive when I'm driving around. That plus the z tube definitely made a difference from the factory set up. Next move is defintely upgrade brakes. Cant deal w/ the squealing anymore. Thanx again guys.
