Hey guys i picked up a CAI with z tube of ebay a few weeks ago and i cant seem to get it to fit into my car did i miss something or are their parts missing.. I have some pictures here so can soemoen please help me? I believe the CAI is off a 350z so i hope it fits the G!

it's different from the G heat shield...
there might be a way to make it work - but I'd have to see it in person... The Z intake (air filter portion) is ttly different from G)...

Man you guys are amazing!! Honestly i even called stillen and got little to no help! This forum rocks you guys rock! So sell the Filter and the heat sheild? and whats the deal with this STILLEN's signature Aluminum Venturi Ring?
And for the guys that have a filter on their car does it just hang their and bounce around doesnt seem right to me!?

doesnt bounce that first pic with that adapter attaches to the side of the intake plenum or on the other side theres a lil bracket that should be on the stock intake system....holds it in place just a heads up you might want to get a lil sterofoam piece and put it over your a/c line it rubs sometimes
Venturi ring smooths the airflow, install that for sure...everything should be secure, no bouncing around. When you get all the G35 pieces you should see how it all fits. If not, post up again.

based on the way that heat shield is designed, the ventury ring will not mount up... Unless it has a square flange (that I've never seen before)...
With a typical application the ventury ring fits inside the collar of the filter and butts up against the heat-shield (from the inside) it sits flush and you bolt it right through the MAF sensor housing...
Your heat shield is recessed (or protruding, whichever way you look at it)... I've never seen it that way - but it wont bolt up the way it normally does.
