Stock intake question

I installed a jwt pop charger/z tube combo on my 07 coupe 5at, what is the bottle looking reservoir under the stock air box???

Should i remove that as well? i could feel 2 bolts is that all that holds it on?

No idea what it is, but you can just keep it in there. Won't affect anything.

Has nayone removed it? is it just 2 bolts? size? I can barely reach down there let alone see.

i think that bottle is a silencer or something to do with vacuum.

ok its called resonator. it seems like its there to reduce the noise.

i had to take mine out to make space for the CAI filter... its just a resonator chamber... you might have to take the bumper off to get access to it if you want to remove it

I don't remember what my friend did but he took out the resonator for me and we didn't take the bumper off. Can't remember if it was just peeling back the fender wheel housing or if we jacked the side up.
