More exhaust note and deeper sound!?

Hey guys i have a JWT popcharger/z tube combo and an HKS sport muffler. This is still too low in sound for my taste. I want one other mod <$300 that will add a bit more loudness and deepness. I was thinking of cat delete but i dont want any rasp or drone. What do you guys think will give the best overall sound (deep and loud) for the price listed? dont care for performance but its a plus.

What year is your car? If it is pre 05 I would get a coupe mid pipe or an 05-06 mid pipe. If it is 05+, I would look at a resonator delete or a smaller resonator from Magnaflow.

high flow cats. i've also heard the HKS muffler + coupe mid-pipe on a friend's sedan (candlestickpark) and it sounds pretty sexy

i was thinking of the coupe midpipe but my car is 2005 and it wouldnt make a big difference and the problem with resonator delete would be a lot of rasp. what brand of high flow cats will give the best sound?

07/08 350z HR-Y pipe. Its going to be a tad louder and defiantly deeper.

Coupe mid will sound better but add a significant amount of drone. Berk makes a good HFC. Hit up M Marinelli Motorsports for great pricing on these.

Do you want it to sound like a more mature? Go with the 5/16 spacer and HR y-pipe first because those are for sure mods you'll want to keep on your car. Res Delete, I agree w/ above poster. If the spacer and y-pipe don't do the trick, try the MREV2 or modify a non rev up plenum and slap it on. Doesn't do the trick? HFCs. I've read about cats blowing out on here, I would suggest Berk HFCs.

I've never owned a set of them but the videos I've watched make the car sound more like a car on need for speed underground.

Whats the main difference between FI and Berk? Louder? Deeper? I saw good reviews on FI.

Thanks Chris. I don't have a coupe midpipe installed, just the stock 05-06 midpipe. I do however have a coupe midpipe sitting at home...LOL.

I also have an HR Y-Pipe, which made the exhaust note a little deeper.

Eventually I'll add HFCs (or Motordyne's ART pipes).

I've gone this route.

Coupe MP will do that, HR y-pipe will do *SOME*

Best bet is HFC or test pipes - most TP rasp so Motordyne would be what you wanna do if you went TP.

personally, I love my Topspeed Pro-1 exhaust.. it was only $450 shipped and its the loudest, meanest exhaust i've heard..

obviously, some people would beg to differ
