Engine temperature and JWT pop-charger.

Now, that the weather has picked up here in norcal... It seems that the engine gets extremely hot during normal driving. So hot that my engine fan sounds like its on max most of the time. Same at night, it's like a furnace in there. And if I lightly place my hand on my Z-tube it feels hot.

So im wondering if the heat is normal and if the JWT pop-charger's heat shield is sufficient in blocking out heat form the intake.

Hot engine is normal and no, the heat shield (it's a joke) for the pop charger will not keep hot air out of your intake.

Our engines run hot. And the reason I got rid of my popcharger was the heat soak. If you want to keep the popcharger, look into getting the stillen shield but I'm not sure if they sell it separately.
