Nismo Exhaust

Just installed a Nismo exhaust with the 6" extension. Now the problem is the tips need to be extended 2-3" as well. Since it's a full stainless exhaust - the welds and extension have to be stainless otherwise it may rust. I live So Cal and can't find a shop that can do it. Anyone have any experience with the 350Z Nismo on their G??

Re: Nismo Exhaust

Consider talking to a hot rod shop, I have one in my little town and they can do stainless with really nice welds. My muffler shop can do stainless welds to however.

You can also try calling local marina's and they will be able to reco a welder! SS is used often in Marine applications and I am assuming since you are in Cali, you shouldn't be too far from a marina! As long as you know exactly how much longer you need to go and where you need to extend, you can just bring the parts you need welded down to them since they probably wouldn't do it on the car. Be sure to account for exhaust hangar locations etc. If it's just the tips, it should be fairly simple.
