this is my exact exhaust setup that will be coming in the mail...I already have XYZ Y with Straight pipe and the same axle back pipes..just waiting on tony to let me know when the TDX Mid-pipe is back in stock and my order will be placed!!! I love this sound! May need to get the ART Pipes now....how bad is the drone? Manageable?

nice! Well, I see that you are AT and the past drone issue was strictly regarding AT. The V2 was created and designed because of the AT issue. I am MT and have the V1 just like you and I am only experiencing drone post ART Pipes. I get it ~3k RPM. it isn't That bad but a little annoying.

I was planning on putting on my Resonator to maybe help with this but the Fumes from the fact that these are Test Pipes is a little too much for me. I'm planning on getting the Single CAT accessory for the XYZ to help with the emissions a bit. Tony claims a loss of ~5 torque. But oh well.

Honestly since you have the Shockwave V1 Axel backs and you are AT.. getting the ART Pipes might make driving unbearable.

Fab/Silencer_0 pls chime in! He has AT and just upgraded to V2 axlebacks and now has the ART Pipes.

Well I never had the shockwave v1, so I can't really comment on how it would sound with art pipes. But it droned bad when I had my gamma + f.i. hfc's. Then i switched to the shockwave v2 + hfc's, that realllllllllllllllly helped with the droning, it was a drastic change. And now I have my current shockwave v2 + art pipes, there's a slight drone at exactly 2500 rpm, but anything above or below that, it doesn't drone, it's just the loudness of the exhaust.

Give the fumes some time Jayk, you'll get used to it!

Sorry fab I just can't stand the toxic smell. I've never had a car with TPs before and I just don't like it.
