Spacer: Clearance; Quick Easy Question Pls Help!

Quick question. I have searched and there is a deep vault of info!

I understand that the 1/2 inch spacer will not clear the strut bar on the 350z, or engine cover.

1. This plenum spacer should be fine however on a 2005 G35 Coupe w/o a strut bar right? So the engine cover will fit without ripping up the hood foam?
2. Also the iso thermal is needed for the Northeast?

Thx - please close after answers!!! I searched and man... I am weary of reading through info.
Pat

1. You will be fine with the clerance. The only issue you will have is the engine cover, it will not fit with the 1/2 inch spacer.

2. IMO anything that can help lower engine temps is a plus regardless of where you are located. Again that just my opinion.

5/16th = Stealth mod. It's still visible, just not as obvious. Good choice.

Go with the Copper kit if you get into the freezing temps where you live. You don't want your throttle body freezing up on you.
