I just installed Megan Racing long tubes!
Yesterday I got my set of megan racing long tube headers I bought from ebay. They cost about $350 shipped to PR and they arrived pretty quick. My car is Supercharged ( Vortech ) and only the intake pipe going to the throttle had to be removed.
This is the second set of headers I install in a G35. The first set was a shorty header I got from ebay that was a copy of the nismo headers and now these.
1) These are considerably easier to install as odd as that may sound. No need to remove the steering wheel linkage since they are skinnier in that area than the "nismo" styles were.
2) I've read a few install write ups and they all ask to remove the coolant pipe on the passenger side, and some say the Ac compressor and alternator....I never did any of that so it's really not necessary.
3) Pipe material seems better than the shorty headers I had....they look very solid and even sound solid. Guess we'll see...
4) I hope to never do this again...lol....my hands hurt!
Anyways....I'm going to the dyno soon but I'm also going to install my 2.87" pulley so I won't have a comparo of before and after.
Here are some pics!

I'm use to american muscle(vets,z28 cubic inch!!) where headers made a big difference and have done quite a bet of reading on headers for these cars but seem to get mixed feedback on it. Did the shorties make a difference??? They look great !!! btw how long was the installl???? still on the fence with going headers or hr y pipe.
