I think once you get under there and look you'll find it's pretty self-evident what to do.

Each end, yes, and a couple of hangers you gotta poke the supports through, but most non-virgins should be able to ace those, too.

But srsly, hawaii, if you get stuck, PM me and I'll take a picture or two.

any exhuast peices after the exhuast manifold-head area can just be snuggly hand tight with a good gasket. worry about torque specs if bolting on a header or turbo manifold to the engine.

from my experinces maybe 35ftlbs will be plenty

what's the difference between 04 and 05 midpipe?

torque specs are 45 ft-lbs y to mid and 35 mid to muffler. I like to use torque wrench and specs. experience has taught me this the hard way.

You can get torque specs from the FSM for your car. It's a great resource for DIY projects.

Cheat sheet I keep handy... FSM's used to be online.

This for my 2004 Coupe..

So I ask again - what's different with 2005 mid-pipe?

Thanks for the help guys..I am not sure of the exact difference from the 04 to 05, but I know that there is less drone than the coupe midpipe and no need to modify or bend the heat shield..basically it is an easier fit than the coupe middie. For more information, look at Daveb's old threads about this topic..his knowledge about the sedan middie convinced me into getting it.
