Motordyne Shockwave V2 exhaust!!

I would first like to say that after and expensive search for the right exhaust I have finally found what is a dream come true. The motordyne shockwave version 2 exhaust is AMAZING! I have both the short headers and now the Megan racing long tubes and whatever exhaust I had the car would RASP like it was a damn handa on crack.

I used the stock exhaust, a single 3inch catback and the hi-flow dual 2.5inch exhausts. All which were horrible with rasp and drove me insane! The new motordyne exhaust is $1600. May seem expensive but you really get what you pay for. The sound that roars put of the 3inch duals is that of a super car. It's really called "SHOCKWAVE" for a reason!! At WOT the car screams (rasp free thru the entire rpm band.) At 2k rpm she pearls begging to get resleased... I have had it for 2 weeks now and my radio has not come on once since it was installed. Truly and unbelievable sound!

**warning**
For people that want a quiet exhaust this is not something that I would suggest getting unless u really want a rasp free drive with a header setup. Also I'm sure that it's much quieter without headers or test pipes.

As far as performance goes I have notice a slight pick up from 4krpm up. Welding is really aerospace quality and the flange to clap setup is really the way to go!! Video and the dyno tune coming late July.

Thank you for the compliment Romanski, I'm glad you like it

For people that wants a quieter setup, they can have the choice to exchange the xyz part of the exhaust with a resonated one. That will make things quieter. Our ART race pipe will also help minimizing the drone/rasp although it is categorized as "test pipes replacement". These ART race pipes perform better than test pipes and it comes with a smoother, more aggressive sound. Yet it is not extremely loud for people that enjoyed a quieter exhaust.

Motordyne always tries to be considerate and think for all aspects of customer needs. We definitely have ways that can bring the noise down if any one is interested. Never the less, any products from Motordyne will make a customer scream for excitement, and that part of the noise we are not able to reduce due to the impact of the results . I know because I used to be one of them

Thank you once again for your kind comments Romanski, I look forward to your dyno/video reviews.

Best

I can't decide between the shockwave v2 and the gamma. From inside the car is the shockwave quieter because of the lack of droning? I have watched the videos, but its hard to tell. I don't mind a loud exhaust but want it to be reasonable while cruising.

Hi Snakes, I'm sure when you plan on buying a exhaust you want more than just sounds right? I know for me personally, power has always been on top of what it sounded like.

Motordyne Shockwave V2 offers both incredible sound "and" power with engineering back ground developed into the design.

While we do minimize drone at "cruising speed", our sound during WOT is no little kitten either. Some people actually said that our WOT is louder than most aftermarket systems.

So what makes you more happy? Power/exotic sound at WOT/ and quiet at cruising? Well, Motordyne has it all

I don't want to be just saying this, so here is a review from one of the independent buyer, see what he has to say about the V2.

Please let me know if you have any further questions, thanks!
