Should the extra bung be after the cat? My Berk's have brackets but the extra bung is ahead of the cat...which by the way made install a bit trickier.

Wideband bungs should be placed before the cat...the HFCs for the HR motor look right, but looks like they made a mistake for the DE cars.

In any case, never heard of this company and it looks like an ebay stores website or something.

They all look pretty good. What did you think looks wrong with the DE?

I dont think anybody has bought them. I've never heard of them before just caught them as I was browsing yesterday.

For the price, they seem to be pretty good.

We need someone to be our guinea pig.

Yep. This is why I'm still resistant to picking up a set of HFCs. Too many owners have them break up. IMO, it's probably because the exhaust temps are high and the large OEM two-stage pre-cat/cat setup can handle the heat. Smaller cats apparently cannot over the long term. The shrink/swell of the thinner piping in HFCs doesn't help either because the piping shrinks/swells at a more rapid pace than the cat brick.

If I do anything with the exhaust, I'll most likely get the MD ART pipes and then weld in a 2.5" cat just after the Y-pipe to quell exhaust volume and to keep emissions down.

I've never heard of FI's metallic HFCs taking a ****. Had them on my car for a couple years, loved them. I know quite a few people rocking them without problems. On the other hand, I do know of some people with FI's ceramic cats that have blown.

I have yet to hear of a motordyne HFC module for the XYZ pipe blowing out but then again I'm not sure how people run that setup and the pipe isnt that old to begin with. I'm running FI resonated test pipes in front of my XYZ pipe with resonator and its not that loud at all! But it still is nice to have the option of just slappin in a HFC in that y-pipe if i desire

I had second hand FI metallic HFC's from ShanesG... long story short, I had to get them removed to put in stock cats to pass emissions at a state ref (since they failed just barely the first time) and when I shook them, the honeycomb inside moved back and forth and was beginning to fall apart.

i've heard stock cats go bad, they sound like a can of marbles and the whole interior if you bang on the body it just rattles. Most likely the same with HFC since its roughly same material.

I've been debating HFC/TP for a while. When ART pipe came out i was like yes i have the answer, but now i find they might not fit. So it back to the HFC VS TP debate for me.
