Stillen True Dual Exhaust for G35c

Anybody have any experience with this catback? I've read that this isn't a very loud exhaust system, and sounds very similar to stock... and slightly quieter than Nismo.

Then, after some more research, I found reviews in which people are saying it is ridiculously droney (can't stand that since I have a 5AT) and too loud.

I am completely confused as of now lol

I have it, didnt think it was annoyingly droney- I HATE DRONE. I sold my fujitsubo to get this one. The fuji was a little quieter, but neither bothers me at highway speed.

If you were looking for an exhaust that looks stock but sounds a little better.
You should maybe just run your factory exhaust with a down pipe.?
ARK is always a good choice for minimal drone.

i also want it to be louder, too. i just don't want to be unbearably loud.

i had the hks rep, and that was just annoying and droney bc i have a 5AT. I want an exhaust that isn't too loud, so when i have my windows up, i can barely hear it with the stereo on at like 10.

I have this exhaust and it is not that loud. After I installed ART pipes, it got pretty loud. It now has a slight drone at 2750-3000 rpm's. And at WOT it's a beast IMO. But overall, I have no complaints and many compliments...

The exhaust has one of the better sounds, IMO. It wasn't THAT loud ever on the frwy, it sounded perfect. It only got louder when I started installing all the breather mods, Mrev2, Spacer, Intake, and Art pipes. I have never had anyone tell me that it was loud. I've had many people ask me what exhaust it was and that it sounded sick. I'd buy it again. Either the Stillen or the MD TDX Shockwave V2, but I think the MD might b a lil louder..

and thanks for that. i guess if i do end up getting it, and it isn't loud enough, ill start doing breather mods like you said

"I" think it sounds perfect. The reason I would get the Motordyne is for the interchangeable components. Seriously, Tony at MD is a genius. You can change it up the way u like it.!! U could end up spending endless amounts of money on his exhaust. And any way u change it up, it's sick...!!
