Due to the TDX design where the resonator/muffler is, you cant put a HFC, Straight Pipe, Resonator. right after the Y Pipe is where the accessory should go.
This is the NA version, with 2.5" primaries that expand to 3". I now have the full, true dual 3" exhaust. I don't think it's on the website but I do believe it's in production and Tony is taking orders.

There is a TDX that is full true dual - the center muffler is an x-pipe but the 3" pipes lead into it, unlike for the 2.5" version. It's 3 inches all the way (for FI) or you can get the 2.5" primaries that expand to 3" (for NA).

I've had both the Fast Intentions Intimidator and multiple versions of the Motordyne. Both are nice exhausts and high quality. The Motordyne v2 shockwave tdx is the ONLY exhaust that I have owned one that has no drone. (My other exhaust was a Greddy evo TT).

Motordyne all the way, for NA or FI...

I wonder what changes they did with the Ver2 because my Ver1 drones like no other! I have the XYZ with resonator into TDX muffler out through dual shockwave pipes. Its gotten better since I put the gamma mufflers on, but it still drones below and near 3k rpm.

I still love the sound though, drone is only annoying when the fiance is in the car and complains about the drone while cruising.

The V2's have hemholtz resonators attached to them. Same resonators that are on the ART pipes. I used to have the Gamma axle-back, so I know what you mean.

oh yeah I forgot about the additional resonators, the picture above didn't reference them. The picture is showing TDX Ver2 and Dual ShockWave Ver1

You might want to check with Tony - I think he had an upgrade special for v1 shockwave owners to get the v2 - could be remembering wrong, but it might still be going on. The v2 is sweet - you will love it.

The driver's side lettering is right side up! It's so you can read it even if you're standing on your head to look at the exhaust, I guess.

I asked and there is no v1 to v2 discount.

Well dang, I guess I remembered incorrectly - apologies. I was able to find someone to purchase my V1 pipes pretty readily - some people like it loud!

EDIT: actually I found what I was thinking about here - it was a limited time introductory thing that required a decision at the time of order, not after the fact.

Not 100%, but i believe the V1 and V2 are the same Decibel but the drone ~3-4k is eliminated due to the resonators.

I have never read anything published or stated by MD that the V2 is Quieter.
