The v2 sounds quieter in the cabin to me at low rpms because there is no drone. It does scream at higher rpm. I have all the recordings comparing the two including analysis on a frequency analyzer. Not sure the best way to quantify loudness based on that data though. I also have twin GT28s which change the sound a bit, so not sure how applicable that is to others. There's a video I put on youtube with the v2 when I was testing out a bunch of MD mufflers... but I cannot seem to find it at the moment.

I'm in Chapel Hill. I used to go out to Raleigh meets but haven't in years - so little time to play. Happy to meet up though - be fun to go to a meet again.

I posted this in another forum, but this is a nice immediate comparo between the TDX true dual 3" shockwave v2 (with twin GT28s), an M6 exhaust (I think missing cats), and an APS true dual 3" exhaust with twin GT35s (in that order in this video):
