Lightbulb Invidia Gemini VS Fujitsubo

Hey,

I currently have a Invidia Gemini exhaust on my coupe and I am considering changing to a fujitsubo legalis R.

The main reason is noise, dont get me wrong the Gemini is by no means a loud exhaust, but I would prefer something quieter.

I am considering just going back to stock or maybe trying out the fujitsubo exhaust.

Do you think the Fujitsubo exhaust will be quieter than the invidia, or just as loud with a different note?

I almost bought Fujitsubo but ended up grabbing the Invidia last week. I still avert installed it yet so I can't vouch for noise levels.

From what I hear, Fuji is quiet like stock. If you want to have that sound level I recommend you go back to stock exhaust and spend time looking for an HR Y pipe along with HFCs or test pipes.

Most likely that'll give you the sound you're looking for while giving you the benefit of stock quietness am saving you a ton of cash over the Fuji exhaust which is quiet anyway.

Right now I'm running stock with the exact setup so I definitely know what I'm talking about.

I had Fast Intentions Intimidator with Berk HFCs for over a year and ran my stock setup mentioned above for a total of 6 months. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask

Hi Tiguy,

Many thanks for the reply, can I ask, how did you find the sound level of the stock exhaust with y-pipe and HFC vs your old Fast Intentions system?

Sounds like its back to stock for me then. I dont mind so much, its just the stock back muffler isnt the best looking

Thanks again

Hey Bluevelvet. Do you have any clips of your car in action sporting the Gemini exhaust?

Stock is quiet compared to Fast Intentions for sure. No drone...no rasp just a nicer more noticeable gurgle note when you get on it especially with the HR Y pipe. Back on topic.... I forgot how quiet my car was before I went with my Fast Intentions and Berk HFC setup.

I loved it when it was on the car but now that I've reverted back to the stock exhaust & used it over a month, I have come to appreciate the civility my G has now.

Honestly, my ideal exhaust would be one with the sound level between stock and my FI/Berk HFC setup. I'm hoping my Invidia will have this sound level I'm looking for. Besides, its time for me to try something new!

If I may ask, why did you sell it and was the quality on par with the FI, Invidia and Stillen systems?

Maybe ive went about this the wrong way, im asking people to compare the invidia to the fuji...

....Maybe I should ask how the Fuji compares to stock?

I do love the Invidia Gemini, but its just a little too deep for me, and still a little too loud at highway speeds. I want my G to be more civilised, but i also want to have a decent exhaust system for looks and better flow, its not all about the sound for me
