High flow cat question

While researching a purchase of high flow cats on this site I found a post that stated "the loss of backpressure from high flow cats causes a loss in torque" is this a true statement? Please explain

Not true. My torque increased by 10 lb-ft (according to the dynojet) over the stock set up with the following mods: intake, plenum and h/f cats.
