I had had the kinetix on my 04 g35 , just bought a 06 g35 and see now cosworth has come out with a version of there own. Trying to decide which way to go.

kinetix is more affordable as cosworth is more costly.! i would go kinetix as a lot of my friends have it and love it.

 

If I was in the market for a plenum I wouldn't look any further than Cosworth! Everyone I know that has installed a Cosworth wouldn't use anything else, plus they're not new they've been out for a few years....

Correct me if i am wrong, but a plenum spacer will do just as much as a new plenum on the dyno.

Cosworth plenums don't do much for NA G35's, at least not enough to justify their price over a MD 5/16" spacer. However they are worthwhile if you are FI and want to go for something that looks really nice as well.

I wouldn't put anything from Kinetix on my car, period.

 

What about their HFCs, read good things about them..

 

get the ssv plenum, its sweet, sounds amazing, looks good, and good gains

 

Why so? Negative personal experience???

 

I've heard the new kinetix plenum, the velocity, or whatever, is a lot better than the ssv, and makes actual power, though it's most noticeable at high revs.

 

Their camber arms are known for breaking while driving, and the SSV makes no gains whatsoever. Not saying all of their products are bad, but with so many brands to choose from, why pick a company with such a spotty track record?
